I'm so confused with the new types of terminology used in communications and Internet industry in those days. I feel like I'm still in the Middle Ages, where the mode of communication through sending letters to the Knights taking the other kingdoms, villages or cities.
Time has changed. Communication has taken a great leap in technology and processes. Days have gone of carrying telegrams and by carrier pigeons. We now live in 21 century, where most of the things done with the help of machines and modern technology.
So I knew that the theme is that not all people are well versed in the ways of communication in the corporate world and the business sector to work. I only recently learned that there are many ways to communicate through the Internet, but I want to send a normal E-mail, chat, prints / publications and various types of media. I learned that we can also relay voice communications over the Internet, so this term, VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol. In layman's term, a term used to describe the category of voice communication process.
I am now more illuminated about its meaning. So when I see ads for used VOIP phones at electronics wholesale prices on the Internet or read the ads on that either, if I come to hear about VOIP by any means,I smile and tell myself that “We already know what is it?”..
