Switch over your career to teaching profession

I am an engineer by profession and I was working in a software concern for about 5 years. I was very much disturbed by the software culture and I met with some health problems. So I thought of shifting my career. Even my doctor advised me to do the same. I thought of shifting to teaching profession. My friend said that, “To acquire a job in a well established school you have to undergo Master degree in teacher education”. I was ready to undertake the graduation but I was concerned about two things. One, I have to achieve some regular source of income during the course duration and two was where to find the best education program. As I rely on internet for all my needs, I sat before the computer and searched for a fellowship program. I got caught up with Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship program. It is a program that Teach American residents about way of teaching school students. At the end of the study the person undergone study over there will be awarded with a Master’s degree in teaching education. I applied for the fellowship program and I got a seat over there. Even I find a way for my income as the course is offered with stipend.
