Part II - Shipyard CHRIS CRAFT

During the 2nd World War the yard supported the U.S. Army and was one of its vessels on June 6, 1944 which came first in the Norman coast.After the war he returned to the normal rhythms yard and created a new series based on a high speed luxury and comfort while marking a new way to build. The impact of Chris Craft was so great that in 1950 Carlo Riva Owner's legendary Italian Riva boat visited the U.S. company to draw ideas for the construction of its own vessels. At that time the American yard going through a period of prosperity and workforce employed 5000 people, and its president in 1959 figourarise the cover of the Times as the man who brought her closer than ever yacht to the average citizen.The 1962 Chris Craft adopted a new material alongside manufacturing polyester and polyester wooden boats until 1972 built wooden boat last.Today the yard is still producing reliable and quality fiberglass boats in a wide range that are the evolution of earlier models with modern architecture.
