Part V - Shipyard RIVA

The yard has chosen to use the new material using wood only for some parts of the vessel. But this option is not appreciated by some of the buying public. It was obvious that the ingredients of success that made Riva boats so popular it was very different from the elaborate wood. The result was increased demand for used, which are now collectors' items and special models Aquariva Aquarama and left to history. Today one can see many such pipeline in the region of Lago Majore in Venice and the Party which opened Rivacafe and serves drinks with names of vessels and there are clubs whose members consist of owners of vessels and arrange tours.Nowadays, the yard has grown, as has the range as most manufactures large motor yachts and the sizes of which are from 10.7 to 35, 5 meters. The new boats are beautiful, with good performances even while smaller models are the evolution of the successful old soul but the Riva wooden boats have always a special place in the history of the yard.
